Day-wise itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive in Cochin & transfer to Munnar (4 hrs Journey / 125 Kms)
Upon arrival at the Cochin Airport, meet our representative and board the vehicle booked for you. Cochin, now known as Kochi, is a major port city located at the shoreline of the Arabian Sea. Later straight forward move to Munnar on the way Vallara & Chiyapara waterfalls. Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain rivulets - Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, Munnar offers several breathtaking views. This place has numerous attractions to hold the attention of tourists for several days. One of the most prominent is its tea plantations. Spread over acres of land, these tea estates add to the beauty of this quaint town. A walk through these unending expanses is a delightful experience, which travelers cherish a lot. Upon arrival in Munnar, check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. Later, leave for a sightseeing tour of this beautiful destination. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 — Day for Sightseeing in Munnar
Soon after breakfast, pay a visit to the Eravikulam National Park, which is home to numerous endangered species, such as Nilgiri tahr, ruddy mongoose, small-clawed otter and dusky striped squirrel. While visiting this reserve, do not forget to adore the beauty which is the highest pinnacle of the Western Ghats. Other than sightseeing, holidaymakers can also indulge in various adventure activities like trekking, rock climbing and nature walks at this place. (On your own). You can go for a sightseeing visit to Mattuputty Dam, Eravikulam National Park, Echo Point, Munnar Photo Point. Etc After an adventurous day, get back to the hotel and sleep the night away.
Day 3 — Munnar to Thekkady Visit & Stay (Approx. 3 hrs / 90 Kms)
After breakfast check out from the hotel or resort and proceed to Thekkady. Check into the hotel or resort. Thekkady is India s largest wildlife sanctuary and is a dream destination for any tourist visiting Kerala. Spice plantation tour covering tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations. Have an amazing boat ride (Direct Payment Basis) in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. You will have a chance to watch wild animals like elephants, Bison, Sambar, Deer, etc. roaming both shores. Evening visits to the local spice market for garden fresh spices (Entry ticket need to be taken directly). Overnight stay at Thekkady resort.
Day 4 — Thekkady to Alleppey – Deluxe Sharing Houseboat Stay (Approx. 4 hrs / 130 Kms)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Aleppey which has an immense natural beauty, also known as the Venice of the East. It is famous for the backwaters, boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir products. Check in to the Houseboat. Enjoy the backwater of Alleppey, is advisable for the guest to enjoy the Backwater as houseboat Cruises in the daytime. Enjoy Lunch, Dinner & Next Day morning breakfast. Overnight stay at Housbeoat only. A/C Working timings in Deluxe Sharing Houseboat is from 09.30 pm to 05.30 Am.
Day 5 — Departure from Alleppey to Cochin & later drop to Airport (Approx 2 hrs)
After breakfast check out from Alleppey resort and transfer to Kochi. Later drop at the Kochi airport by afternoon and depart. Travel back to your home with wonderful memories of amazing experience in Kerala. Tour Ends.
